Terms of service

These terms cover a school’s use of Darasio, operated by Darasio. By creating a school account, the person doing so confirms they are authorised to act for that school.

• ·Keep account credentials secure, and remove access for staff who leave.
• ·Only enter data you are entitled to hold, and tell families what you hold and why.
• ·Configure retention and consent settings for the laws where you operate.
• ·Review anything the AI assistant drafts before publishing it to students.
• ·Do not use the platform to send unlawful, harassing or misleading messages.

• ·Keep the service available, and tell you when it is not.
• ·Keep your school’s data isolated from every other school’s.
• ·Back up your data and be able to restore it.
• ·Give you notice of material changes to these terms or to pricing.
• ·Let you export your data, during the agreement and on ending it.

Subscriptions are billed per the plan you choose, in your school’s currency. You may cancel at the end of a billing period. We do not refund part-periods, but we also do not lock you into a minimum term.

The AI tutor and teacher assistant produce educational material generated by a language model. They may be wrong. Teachers must review generated material before students see it, and nothing the AI produces is an official assessment, a qualification, or advice about a child’s health, development or welfare.

We may suspend an account for non-payment after notice, or immediately where use threatens the safety of children or the integrity of the platform. Suspension does not delete your data, and you can still export it.

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
